The branch office will also receive complaints on consumer protection and trademarks and enquiries and fine payment.

Mr Al Qamzi said: “We focus on providing value-added services to our clients and the new office will offer them greater ease of access to DED. The initiative is in line with our objective to expand the scope and reach of our services and help clients complete their business formalities in a time-efficient manner.”

Mr Al Qamzi thanked the officials in The Dubai Mall for their cooperation and their role in coordinating with DED to offer the best services to help in the development and growth of the business sector in Dubai.

The new branch, located in the lower ground floor and next to The Dubai Mall management offices in the Arabian Court, is open for the public from Tuesday, 31 March, and the working hours are 7.30 am to 2.30 pm. The DED’s new branch in The Dubai Mall follows the opening of the first branch in Al Twar.
