Kia Motors launched its first Cerato model in 2004 and since then it has been among the top-selling mainstream automotive brands. In a few months the company will release its third generation Cerato – Kia Cerato Forte.

Kia Forte’s mass market launching is scheduled for the summer of 2013. The next-generation Cerato shines with a new look, style and features. In addition, Kia’s upcoming compact car will be offered at an affordable price and with a nice design. The brain behind Kia Cerato Forte is designer Peter Schreyer. He is known for his work on many popular VW and Audi models, including Audi TT and VW New Beatle, as well as Kia Optima, and other Kia Cerato designs. With the new Kia Cerato, the designer offers a smoother, yet distinct, dynamic and futuristic look.

Kia Cerato Forte impresses with a combination of angular and curvy lines that create a great sense of balance. Forte’s roofline is lower compared to the previous Cerato editions. The new width and length of the car give it a more modern appearance. However, Kia has made sure to keep some of its trademarks like the design of the tiger-nose grille, for example. The style of Cerato Forte is completed by its taillights which are really bright with their 81 LEDs.

Kia has also given Forte a nice interior which is not far from that of the previous Cerato models. The inside of the car is made of really soft materials that are also included in the dashboard. Also, the center console of the new Kia is placed close to the driver making it more accessible than before. Although the Forte is originally labeled as a compact car, its interior is rather spacious and it provides good visibility for the driver.

Technically, Kia Cerato Forte offers some more improvements compared to older models and other compact automobiles. The car’s wheelbase is 106.3” and it has a MacPherson suspension which is strut front. The wheel of the next-generation Cerato will come in three different size options depending on the trim level. The hydraulic power steering that was seen in the old Cerato is now changed with an electric power steering.

Forte has many other features like satellite radio and steering wheel audio controls. Kia also offers additional packages with more extras like back-up camera, stop-start system and FlexSteer functionality.

Kia Cerato is generally well-accepted on the market. It is expected that Forte will make be exception and that it will become a powerful rival to other popular compact cars.
