D&B introduces a new business credibility assessment tool for Middle East

Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) has launched D&B D-U-N-S RegisteredTM for the Middle East region.

In global markets, the lack of transparency in online commerce is a serious barrier to growth. Establishing credibility with a new business partner is a challenge faced by most companies today. Knowing who the company behind an offer is can make the difference to close a deal – and this applies to both, customers and suppliers.

A company’s website is one of the first sources a new business partner will visit in order to gain more information on a company. Companies will now be able to display the D&B D-U-N-S RegisteredTM online profile of their business to their prospective business partners through their website. Visitors of the site will know immediately that the existence of the company has been verified by an external reliable source.

D&B has provided the D-U-N-S RegisteredTM seal for more than 15,000 global companies. All these companies are listed on the Global database available on www.dunsregistered.com

A click on the seal opens a pop-up containing basic information about the company. The profile data is sourced from D&B. This way the respective company uses the credibility of the D&B brand to create confidence and trust in business partners in the global marketplace.
