The anniversary edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival concluded on February 1. The 20th milestone DSF was organized under the slogan “Journey of Celebrations” and once again it attracted an impressive number of residents and visitors, lured by the festival’s countless events and activities. The 20th Dubai Shopping Festival could be the most successful ever. Here are some early statistics to prove it.

That is more than the average weight of an adult male lion. The gold chain took more than 45 days and 100 craftsmen to complete and it consisted of 4 million links. That was more than enough to put Dubai in the Guinness book of records once again.

$100 million – That was the value of all the diamond jewelry that was displayed during the Diamond Fashion Show, which was part of DSF 2015. Ten of the pieces in the collection were 50-carat diamonds and four were 100-carat diamonds, which are considered to be extremely rare.

AED 1 million – That was the combined value of all the cash prizes and voucher that were given away during DSF 2015. Other prizes featured in this year’s raffles includes 40 carats of diamond, 100 kg of gold, two luxurious Infiniti cars and five Nissan Patrol vehicles.
Hundreds of fashionistas – Nicole Riche was one of the celebrities that stopped by the Dubai Shopping Festival this year. The famous fashionista showcased her latest collection and gave style tips to the hundreds of people who showed up at her presentation.

15% – 20% – That was the average jump registered by consumer electronics sales at this year’s Dubai Shopping Festival. Bigger brands, like Samsung and Apple, have reportedly witnessed an even more impressive sales rise, particularly in the smartphone category – about 40% each.
