His Excellency Tariq Lootah, Director General of the Ministry of State for the Federal National Council Affairs (MSFNCA), discussed with His Excellency Dr. Issa Al Shrebti, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, in Bahrain joint cooperation frameworks as well as information and expertise exchange mechanisms. Al Shrebti is heading a delegation on an official visit to Abu Dhabi.
His Excellency Dr. Saeed Al Ghufli, Executive Director of the MFNCA, made a presentation on the ministry’s role, specializations and experience in coordinating between the government and the council as well as accomplishments since establishment.
H.E. Lootah stressed on the importance of the Bahraini delegation’s visit to the UAE. He said it will further strengthen the relations between the two GCC ministries by sharing expertise and best practices in parliamentary experience in the region.
The meeting also discussed the initiatives and qualitative steps taken by the UAE to energize and strengthen its experience and build its political growth process to the Bahraini delegation, representing a country with a long history of parliamentary practice.
H. E. Lootah highlighted the key role that the ministries play between the governments and parliaments, as they work to ensure that national objectives are met in the most effective ways. They also contribute to enhancing political awareness across all segments of the society thus building social participation in the political process.
