New Arabic newspaper ‘Alrroya Aleqtisadiya’ launched in Abu Dhabi

alrroyacomMinister of Presidential Affairs HH Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended today a ceremony to launch the new Arabic newspaper ‘Alrroya Aleqtisadiya’ from Abu Dhabi, reported the official news agency WAM.

Published by Imedia, Alrroya Aleqtisadiya, meaning Economic Vision will hit the stands tomorrow, Monday. The ceremony held at the Emirates Palace, was also attended by Minister of Economy HE Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Labour HE Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, a number of other senior officials, Arab and foreign media personalities and economic experts.

In a welcome address, Board member Al-Yaziya Ali Al Kuwaiti said: This event is a manifestation of the vision and directives of Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed for founding Alrroya Aleqtisadiya as the first Arabic language newspaper in the Emirates dedicated to business, financial and economic affairs from a UAE perspective. His efforts have made the launch of this newspaper possible.

Al Kuwaiti also promised UAE readers a high quality, Arabic business daily that speaks their language, understands their needs and gives a voice for the UAE’s vibrant business community.

Alrroya Aleqtisadiya will focus on various economic sectors, examining breaking news, providing analysis of current business related stories, conducting executive interviews and investigative reporting, the publishers said.

Imedia LLC was established in August 2008 as the UAE’s first fully integrated media company.
