Dubai International Dance Festival to Kick off in Two Weeks

The sixth edition of the largest dance event in the Gulf, the Dubai International Dance Festival, is set to start this year on September 25. Showcasing the best of young talent from the region and the world, the event will continue for four days and will include musical shows, dance workshops, exhibitions, parties and of course, a lot of professional and amateur dance performances.

Celebrating all kinds of traditional, classic and modern dance styles, the Dubai International Dance Festival has been designed to encourage new local talents and show the best of the international dance scene. This is a unique multi-arts event that attracts classical dance academies, dance companies, bands, youth orchestras, as well as a wide range of single performers. It also has a strong educational and inspirational role for young locals with its educational programmes and dance workshops for all levels. During the spectacular 4-day dance and music extravaganza, visitors will be able to enjoy watching more than 100 artists, performing in 20 different dance styles, two musical shows, eight mega-parties, and more than 30 dance workshops. Of course, as we speak of Dubai after all, there will be a special Dance Village, where you can shop all kinds of dance merchandise. However, the most intriguing will be the dance competitions in which you will be able to see the best of the best.

Some of the guest DJs who will heat up the audience at the parties will be Holland’s DJ Willy, and the local Udia, Mitri, and Moe Kuwaity. Artists included in the programme are Terry & Cecile from France, RAMARK (France), Fabian & Esther (Spain), Sean Babatunde (UK), Salsa n Candela (Qatar), Mo Brothers (UAE), and many , many others.

The sixth edition of Dubai Dance Festival will be at The Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Center, Mall of the Emirates.
