James Blunt in Dubai on Thursday, February 16th
Get ready to meet the legends and stars of the Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival 2012 from the 16th to 24th February at its proud new home, Dubai Festival City (DFC).
Kicking off the 10th Anniversary of this Must-see Event will be James Blunt on Thursday, February 16th and Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra on Friday, February 17th. The music keeps playing all through the week; from Saturday through Thursday you can chill at the “Jazz Garden” and listen to international jazz and Rhythm and Blues artists. The 2nd weekend of the main gigs continues with Jason Mraz on Thursday, February 23rd before wrapping up with James Morrison on Friday, February 24th.
Dubai Festival City promises fans an unparalleled experience! This year you can enjoy the finest shopping in Festival Centre and mouth-watering gourmet restaurants at the Marina Restaurant Pavilion before you hop on the Big Bus Tours Shuttle to the fantastic new concert venue.

One of the unique aspects of this year’s festival is the food, with the InterContinental and Crowne Plaza DFC outlets taking their fine dishes to the great grassy venue. The food options include everything from steak sandwiches and picnic baskets to shawarma and Belgian fries and will be available on the stations of Terra Firma Steakhouse, Bistro Madeleine, Belgian Beer Café and Al Soufra which will open from 6:00 pm to midnight on weekdays and 6:00 pm – 2:00 am on weekends.
