It’s in Mother Nature’s make-up to be the one that cares for her young – she has a special bond with her children. But in the run up to Mother’s Day on Sunday March 14 (UK) and March 21 (UAE), fathers are being encouraged to spend more time with their kids to look for something special that might make Mum’s day.

To celebrate, IDdesign, the lifestyle store with furnishing products and ideas for modern living, is still offering a 20% discount until Saturday 20th March to fathers who shop with their children in any of the three stores. Over this weekend, the 12th and 13th March, they will also receive an extra special treat for themselves – absolutely free.

Whether it’s a unique present for the big day or one of the brand’s latest designs for the home, a second pair of eyes and a younger opinion can help with the decision.

“This is a very special time of year for all the family whatever nationality,” said Ajai Dayal, General Manager, Retail and Marketing for Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, of which IDdesign is a member.

“A mother is the central point of the family. She is the one that everybody turns to when they are proud of something, worried about something or just need some extra comfort. It’s great to give the fathers an opportunity to express their thanks with some of our unique items and also provide an extra incentive to involve the kids.”

IDdesign, the lifestyle store with furnishing products and ideas for modern living, has collections ranging from sofas, bed sets, children’s furniture, dining, out-door and Office@Home furniture.

The company’s ‘mydesign’ service, where any customer can have access to their very own interior designer, who will guide them through the maze of interior design – advising on furniture, accessories, wallpapering, paint work, and even flooring – so they can all be professionally coordinated and styled giving peace of mind is an ideal service for people with a busy lifestyle and is extremely popular.

IDdesign stores are located in The Mall of the Emirates and Diera, Dubai and Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi.
