Emirates Sunland Group has confirmed that its AED 2.3bn Palazzo Versace Dubai, one of the UAE’s most highly anticipated five-star hotels and high-end residences, is making excellent progress with its construction, and is now 80% complete. Palazzo Versace Dubai, which will provide an outstanding collection of private residences and luxury hotel suites, is well advanced and is fast becoming a recognisable landmark in the city.

The building’s design reflects world-famous palace layouts with the central area allocated for the hotel facilities and the Ala Sinistra and Ala Destra (the left and right wings) for the private condominiums. Internally intricate mosaic and plasterboard is being laid while externally complex glass reinforced concrete cladding is being put up. Internal walls and lining are continuing to make good progress with framing works now on level six. Following up close behind is the lining crew on level five. The moulding installation is currently on level four and the final touches on the walls and ceiling are underway on level three. The stone floors are being installed on levels two and three with regular deliveries of stone arriving from Italy ensuring the teams continue to keep pace with the lining trades. All the windows are being installed across the condominiums and façade painting is now underway on the creek side. Painting works are commencing from level eight downwards, with scaffolding being dismantled as the works are complete. The external condominium hoist has also now been removed and all vertical man and material movement is taking place within the permanent lifts inside the building.

The highly anticipated Palazzo Versace Dubai, a 4.3 hectare development by Emirates Sunland Group and Versace, will be one of Dubai’s most outstanding hotel and residential resorts, providing a collection of 169 private residences and 217 super-luxury hotel suites, all furnished exclusively with Versace Home furniture and housed in a 170,000m2 palace. Palazzo Versace will feature a Vanitas fine dining room, a health spa, gymnasium, ballroom, convention facilities and Versace boutique, all set in landscaped grounds.

Emirates Sunland Group’s managing director Soheil Abedian commented: “At 81% complete Palazzo Versace Dubai is taking shape and its stature can easily be seen by passing traffic on the Business Bay Bridge. The progression of Dubai’s new highly anticipated landmark from week to week has really stepped up in pace.”

More than 100 specialists from around the world have been recruited to a special United Arab Emirates (UAE) based studio and workshop to produce the beautiful detailed mosaics that will grace the driveway, public area floors and walls, the spa, private residences’ bathrooms and private swimming pools.

The designer residences and hotel suites will all be furnished with an exclusive line of Versace Home Collection products. The 5.5 hectare development also offers a Vanitas fine dining room, a day spa, ballroom and convention facilities and a Versace boutique. Palazzo Versace Dubai, set in landscaped gardens complete with a marina, is Dubai’s most prestigious waterside address. Approximately 20 per cent of the residences remain for sale, with homes ranging from two- bedroom apartments providing 1,700 sq ft to a six-bedroom duplex with a total 15,000 sq ft of luxurious space.

Emirates Sunland Group is building Palazzo Versace under a joint venture agreement with the Middle East’s prominent builder Arabtec, who was also responsible for the iconic Burj al Arab in Dubai. Emirates Sunland Group is a 50:50 partnership between UAE-based Emirates International Holdings and Australian-based Sunland Group Limited.

The Emirates Sunland showroom for Palazzo Versace Dubai is located in Building 6, Gold & Diamond Park, Interchange 4, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. For more information about Palazzo Versace Dubai, please phone 800 9002 or +971 4 3418 663 or visit www.palazzoversace.ae
