Training programme for Emirati job-seekers launched

H.H. Sheikh Majed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, launched today an ambitious programme for administrative training of young Emiratis.

The initiative aims to develop professional skills of Emiarti graduates before they enter the job market.

Applications will be received and interviews will be conducted at Sheikh Majed’s pavilion during the Careers UAE to be held from 21-23 March 2011 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event is the leading jobs, recruitment and training event exclusively for UAE Nationals.

Sheikh Majed said in a press release that the programme would support Emiratisation drive in both the public and private sectors.

He called on private employers to draw plans for taking young Emiratis and praised foreign employers who open their door to the Emiratis.

One of the most privileges of the programme is its aim to forge partnerships with major world consultancy and commercial firms.

Sheikh Majed said he was confident of the UAE citizen’s competence to compete in the public and private job market WAM/TF
