2015’s World’s Best Workplaces Revealed

Employees at the World’s Best workplaces have spoken: it takes a community to make a company great.

A new study by research and consulting firm Great Place to Work® into the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces finds that a spirit of camaraderie is central to employee perceptions that their cultures are great.

With the new report, Company as Community, Great Place to Work also released its 5th annual list of the 25 World’s Best Multinational Workplaces. Technology giant Google ranks #1 for the third straight year. Rounding out the top five on the list are software firm SAS Institute, specialty manufacturer W.L. Gore, data storage specialist NetApp and mobile communications provider Telefónica.

Great Place to Work® has been studying great workplace cultures worldwide and producing best workplace lists for more than three decades, and continues to find that trust, pride and camaraderie are universal foundations to a great workplace. The analysis, which involved survey responses from more than half a million employees at the 2015 World’s Best, found that six of the top 15 drivers indicate a festive, inclusive community is key to what makes the World’s Best great.

The report also includes the full list of the 2015 World’s Best. This year’s set of listed companies is the latest sign that any workplace can be great. The World’s Best Workplaces represent operations in 47 different countries and come from industries ranging from cosmetics and candy to computer software and chemicals.
