The official launch of Samsung’s new smartphone, the Galaxy S4, is getting closer with every day. However, the facts remain the same – there is pretty much no confirmed information on the hotly anticipated device.
That is why when Samsung published its first teaser video on the Galaxy S4 a few hours ago, everyone was excited to see what the company will reveal on its newest smartphone. Don’t get filled up with hopes. Samsung did not give away anything about the next Galaxy S. Instead, it presented us with a young boy called Jeremy.
In the commercial, Jeremy is the “secret messenger” of S4’s event Samsung Unpacked. That suggest that we will probably see the boy at the official event in New York, or maybe not… The teaser trailer shows the boy being presented with a mysterious box on which we can read “Samsung Unpacked 2013.” What can be assumed from this is that it contains the new Galaxy S4 phone. Towards the end of the video the boy opens the box. However, we only see his face that is lit with amazement and excitement. Finally, we read a message that says “Be ready 4 the next Galaxy.” Only that a super-advanced smartphone is absolutely not suitable for boy of a such young age, and that is from many points of view.
There is not even one bit of information or a sneak peak on the device’s look or specifications. Nevertheless, there is one recurring imagine which is seen throughout the whole video – stripes. From the characters’ ties to the interior in Jeremy’s room, stripes are a dominating pattern and element. We are not sure whether this has to do more with Samsung Galaxy S4 or with fashion trends, but stripes are very noticeable in the commercial.
For now, all details on Galaxy S4 remain in the sphere of rumours and speculations. It is believed that Samsung’s next smartphone will run on 1.8GHz Exynos Octa 5410 processor. In addition, there is information that the new Galaxy S will have 2GB of RAM and that it will come in three different versions according to its internal memory capacity – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Some sources reveal that S4 will have a 4.99” full HD screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 and two cameras (2.1MP on the front and 13MP on the back). Probably, Samsung Galaxy S4 will run on Android 4.2 also known as Jelly Bean.
The latest Galaxy S4 rumours claim that the device will have a plastic body. It is said that it will be quite similar to that of its predecessor Galaxy S3.
But we will have to wait until March 14th to learn if any of that is actually true. It is highly possible that Samsung will release a few more teasers on its next smartphone in order to build an intense promotional campaign. Hopefully, the following video clips will shed some light on the next-gen mobile device of the South Korean company.
