Budget airline Pegasus to start Dubai Istanbul flights in October 2012
Pegasus has been flying for 20 years and is the most established private carrier in Turkey. The budget airline recently announced the addition of two more destinations to its network portfolio starting from mid-October. The new cheap flights introduced by the carrier are Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen – Batumi and Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen – Dubai.
Since Pegasus leads the way in Turkey by applying its low cost model, it may be considered quite a competition for other budget airlines that offer Dubai Istanbul flights. Prices for a one-way ticket from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen to Dubai start from TRY 185.00, which is AED 377.91. This is quite affordable considering the fees of other carriers. Only FlyDubai occasionally offers similar deals on Dubai Istanbul flights. Emirates Airline and Qatar Airways service the Dubai Istanbul route daily, but both charge much higher.
Pegasus is the only private airline in Turkey whose wide network of domestic and international flights departs from Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport. In this way the company tries to protect its passengers from the expensive parking and heavy traffic that is a problem at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport. Therefore, the carrier’s aim is to decrease the total cost of your entire journey, not just the ticket.
Pegasus also is the first company in Turkey to show its monthly success rate on its website, which is a part of its goal to be Turkey’s most on-time airline. Just go the website of the carrier to check the on-time performance of the flights from the past week, or even year. The numbers are quite high!
Pegasus Airline is an established and budget-friendly carrier and soon it will be able to take you to Dubai. With the new offers and flexible fees of the company anyone can afford to fly to Dubai!
