With 2010 at our backs, some amazing memories of parties gone by, our winter sabbatical and January detox finally over we are fully rested, hyped and ready to get back into the party action and what better way to do it than with the fabulous fantasy world of opulence and beauty that is Hed Kandi.
On Friday 11th February at Nasimi Beach, Atlantis The Palm it is the turn of Hed Kandi Twisted Disco to deliver their twisted journey into the darker side of house. Expect Eric Prydz, Swedish House Mafia, Deadmau5 and Mark Knight to be expertly thrown into the mix by longstanding Hed Kandi resident John Jones.
John is the quintessential Hed Kandi DJ having been touring the world spreading the Hed Kandi love for over 10 years now. New York, Miami, Sydney, Christchurch (New Zealand), San Francisco, Paris, Bogotá (Columbia), Reykjavik, Moscow, Ibiza, Majorca, Marbella, Glasgow, Dublin and Barcelona are a few of the places that have had the pleasure of seeing and hearing John perform and we are very excited it is our turn.
Supporting John on percussion is Dean Oram aka ‘Deano on Percussion.’ Dean has been heightening the momentum at worldwide Hed Kandi parties since 2008. His sheer energy displayed in the use of contemporary rhythms & fills using three congas, two sets of bongos, cymbals, cow bells and blocks coupled with his unmoved passion for house music, has constantly enticed crowds and we’re sure Dubai will be no different.
Combine this array of talent with Hed Kandi’s typically jaw dropping visuals, Nasimi Beach’s brand new custom built Funktion 1 soundsystem and bespoke light show, some surprisingly twisted performers all experienced with sand between your toes and the Dubai skyline as a back drop we definitely have one magically twisted night out!
