The Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer of major tourism, cultural and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, announced today that it has released additional new townhouses at the Saadiyat Lagoons District. In addition to the two and three-bedroom units for sale, TDIC has now added four-bedroom units, all of which are designed as contemporary style townhouses.
His Excellency Ali Majed Al Mansoori, TDIC’s Chairman of the Board, said: “Today, we find that when it comes to purchasing a home, buyers and homeowners are looking for an investment that offers them an attractive and holistic proposition, and a better quality of life overall.”
TDIC launched this project back in April of this year, and works are on track in preparation for the main construction of the project. The contractor has already mobilised on site for the enabling works, and a contract for main construction works will be awarded before the end of this year.
H. E Al Mansoori added: “Saadiyat Island boasts some of the world’s biggest names in culture such as Zayed National Museum, Louvre Abu Dhabi and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, and in education too, with New York University Abu Dhabi and Cranleigh Abu Dhabi – both of which are fully functional today. With the enabling works for the Saadiyat Lagoons District already underway, this project is another addition to Abu Dhabi’s booming property market. It has been designed to encourage more active and outdoor living, and with the nearby leisure, education and cultural offerings that the Island boasts, this development will provide residents with a comprehensive and unique lifestyle experience.”
H. E Al Mansoori said: “Releasing four-bedroom townhouses, in addition to the other types on offer, will now provide buyers and homeowners with a variety of housing options to choose from, helping to ensure that those looking to own a premium property in Saadiyat Island can now find their dream home.”
Located within minutes from Abu Dhabi city, Saadiyat Lagoons District is a premium residential community which will feature contemporary townhouses, villas and apartments that offer access to neighbourhood shops, Food & Beverage outlets, lush open spaces, gardens and parks, a central lagoon and linear park, mosques and leisure facilities including a state-of-the-art equestrian centre.
The development is set to offer families a vibrant nature-based and healthy lifestyle with numerous pathways for running, cycling and horseback riding on trails alongside the mangroves area, together with retail outlets and dining in a lively town centre. Homeowners will also have access to a range of facilities such as community pools and children playgrounds, and to the neighbourhood lagoon. The district will have its own town centre which overlooks the central Plaza, and will boast a central lagoon and a linear park, in addition to a waterfront village which is located close to the water’s edge and easily accessible by the district’s various paths.
