Foreign investors purchase AED 947.5 million worth of shares on DFM during the last week, and sold AED 855.1 million

Value of shares bought by institutional investors reaches AED 652.2 million during last week, and value of shares sold reached AED 409.7 million.

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) announced today that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (February 8 – February 12) reached AED 947.5 million comprising 41.7 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached AED 855.1 million comprising 37.6 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached AED 92.4 million during the same period, as aggregate buy.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached AED 652.2 million comprising 28.7 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED 409.7 million which constitutes 18 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached AED 242.5 million during the period as aggregate buy.
