Director of the Department of Citizens Affairs at the Foreign Ministry Issa Abdullah Al Kalbani said that this measure is taken as part of the government’s keenness to guarantee the safety of its citizens.

Kalbani also appealed to the UAE citizens currently in Lebanon to leave the country, and in case they have to stay back for any unavoidable reasons, to contact the UAE embassy in Beirut on the hotline 009611857000 for giving information about their whereabouts and contact details.

Kalbani also stressed the importance of registering in the ‘Tawajudi’ service through the web portal at the time of travelling abroad.
