A safe and practical solution for nursing new-born babies is being unveiled by UK based Inditherm Medical at Arab Health; the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East.

CosyCrib provides the perfect nursing environment for new born infants, meeting the needs of both mothers and clinicians.

It has an unrivalled adjustable height facility, to allow access for both wheelchair users and tall clinicians which is electrically operated via a foot control. It also features removable cot sides to facilitate easy access to the infant for medical procedures and routine nursing care.

The pioneering crib also has a versatile tilt facility to allow for ‘head-up’ nursing, and a fully lined fabric cover to shield from light, reduce noise disturbance and help promote developmental care. It also has clear plastic cot sides allow for easy observation of the infant.

CosyCrib is easy-to-clean and is supplied with a standard pressure-relieving mattress. It can also be fully integrated with Inditherm’s CosyTherm neonatal warming system; a high performance warming system which provides an enhanced care environment for newborn infants, as a step-down from an incubator, or an alternative to an incubator where only warming is required.

This is the second year Inditherm Medical are exhibiting at Arab Health. This year they will meet with current distributors, as well as explore new opportunities within the Middle Eastern market.

Inditherm CEO, Nick Bettles commented: “We now have a strong International network of distributors who understand that the combination of superior clinical performance and the substantial cost reductions that our systems offer are driving a rapid increase in uptake of our technology.”

“Following our attendance at Arab Health in 2010 we have established representation in many Middle Eastern countries and we are looking forward to meeting additional partners at the 2011 exhibition.”

Arab Health takes place between 24 – 27 January 2011 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
