His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, was given a warm Emirates’ welcome when he was drawn to some of the airline’s activities taking place at the Ryder Cup.

Prince Charles passed by the Emirates Ryder Cup Challenge yesterday (Wed) – where fans can have a “virtual” crack at some of the most challenging holes of the course at The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales.

His Royal Highness was greeted by Emirates’ cabin crew Claire Connell and Naila Morneau outside the Challenge area, which has already proved to be a big hit with spectators as they wait for golf’s most prestigious team event to officially start tomorrow (Fri).

During his visit to the event’s Practice Day, Prince Charles also met the America and Europe Team Captains, Corey Pavin and Colin Montgomerie, who is an Official Emirates’ Ambassador.

Emirates is the Official Airline and 2010 Ryder Cup Partner.
