Emaar Middle East commences construction of second residential village in Al Khobar Lakes

• Contract for the first phase of Al Ghadeer Village awarded to the Building Construction Company
• Villas in Al Nada Village, the first residential village, nearing completion

Emaar Middle East, a subsidiary of global property developer Emaar Properties PJSC, developing Jeddah Gate, Emaar Residences at the Fairmont Makkah and Al Khobar Lakes in Saudi Arabia, has awarded the construction contract for the first phase of Al Ghadeer Village, the second residential cluster in Al Khobar Lakes, to Building Construction Company (BCC). Site grading work is in progress, and construction of the villas will commence shortly.

Emaar Middle East has already made strong progress in the construction of Al Nada Village, the first residential village launched to overwhelming customer and investor response. Work on the first phase of homes in Al Nada is nearing completion.

Al Ghadeer Village is located on the north-east side of the project, and is spread over an area of over 217,910 sq m. It will feature 232 residential units in sizes ranging from 275 to 500 sq m. All the villas have private fences to ensure the privacy of residents, and a well-knitted street system connects the villas through pedestrian walkways.

Al Ghadeer also features green and open spaces sprawling over 8,500 sq m, and the community is anchored by a lake of area 14,000 sq m and a mosque. Residents can access project amenities that include mosques, educational complexes, a shopping centre, community centres, coffee shops & restaurants, healthcare facilities and other amenities.

Al Khobar Lakes, a multi-billion dollar project by Emaar Middle East, is a luxury lakefront development set on 2.6 million sq m featuring 80,000 sq m of serene water bodies. It features more than 2,000 private villas with retail and leisure amenities that are perfect for family living.
