TAWASUL Telecom revolutionizes communication in the GCC via their new regional telecom platform

Global telecommunication access made available to GCC based corporations and institutions thanks to Tawasul Telecom’s Regional MPLS Network with worldwide reach.

Hisham Al-Razzuqi  - GIC CEO Tawasul Telecom (K.S.C.C) a Kuwait based Company and a fully owned subsidiary of Gulf Investment Corporation, and National Technology Enterprises (NTEC) announced today the launch of its operation and the completion of its MPLS based network. The launch makes possible the provision of innovative cutting-edge data communication services to GCC based companies and multinational institutions within the region as well as in the Middle East and the North Africa regions.

The MPLS based Network which Tawasul Telecom is operating from its Kuwait based Network Operations Centre (NOC) using the latest networking technology from Cisco Systems.  Furthermore, the capabilities of its own points of presence in each of the GCC countries will allow it to offer a wide range of data connectivity solutions for corporate and government bodies supported by the Company’s comprehensive value added services. The company is able today to provide connectivity services in over 80 countries with coverage spanning over five continents made possible by the Company’s strategic partnerships with major international telecommunication operators across the Globe.
