General Electric showcases aluminum industry

GE’s Enterprise Solutions, Sensing & Inspection Technologies and Energy businesses to highlight modern technologies

General Electric Company (GE) is showcasing its modern technologies and solutions that support the aluminum industry at the 13th International Arab Aluminum Conference & Exhibition (Arabal), held from November 9 to 12 at Grand Hyatt Dubai.  Presently, GE is involved in over 41 projects in the aluminum industry world-wide, including four in GCC countries.

To be attended by key global and Middle East industry leaders, the Arabal exhibition, in its 25th anniversary year now, will cover the ‘Changing Dynamics of the Aluminum Industry in the Gulf region.’

Isam Moursy, General Manager, GE Enterprise Solutions, Middle East, said: “Aluminum is one of the strongest manufacturing sectors in the Middle East, with the region today accounting for over 7 per cent of the total 38 million tons of the metal produced globally. GE’s products are also vital in quick detection of fire incidents, if any, and maximize the efficiency in the evacuation process.
