Due to airspace restrictions around Ethiopia caused by volcanic ash movements from the Nabro volcano in Eritrea, Emirates flights EK723 and EK724 (Dubai–Addis Ababa–Dubai) have been cancelled for Tuesday 14th June.
In addition, Emirates flights to Western and Central Africa have been rerouted to avoid the ash cloud, so longer flight times can be expected. Emirates continues to monitor the situation closely, and is liaising with the relevant authorities regarding the movement of the volcanic ash cloud.
Passengers are advised to check the flight tracker on the website where information will be updated every 5 minutes. Please do not proceed to the airport unless your flight is departing.
