Perfect blond hair, warm smile and sparkling blue eyes – apparently these have contributed to the one of the most prestigious recognitions in the world. On Wednesday, People magazine announced Gwyneth Paltrow the World’s Most Beautiful Woman for 2013.

Married to musician Chris Martin she has two children and tries to be the perfect mother and wife. Surprisingly, she doesn’t wear make-up at home and admits her family is used to seeing her this way – with jeans and T-shirt. In the cover story she explains that she has learned to love herself with all her beauties and flaws and that the inner peace and satisfaction with life just emanates from within. According to her good sleep and regular exercise are the best tips for looking great. That’s why she works out for two hours every day which helps her feel younger and stronger. Dieting and deprivation are out of the question, says Paltrow. There’s no need to get on scales, either, it only creates bad psychology. Instead, healthy food with lots of proteins and vitamins paired with every-day exercise work best.
The title World’s Most Beautiful Woman comes as a big surprise to Gwyneth Paltrow who now joins the top list with her fellow actresses, Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry, Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston. Others on People’s 2013 list are Connie Britton, Kerry Washington, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lawrence, Jane Fonda and Linda Gray.
