At the 2012 World Future Energy Summit, a group of young Emirati women showed how they are leading the way on energy and climate change in the UAE.
Alice Marsden, an attorney at Latham & Watkins, moderated a panel discussion on clean energy and climate change. First Solar Sets AnotherWorld Record for CdTe Solar PV Efficiency 14.4 Percent Total Area Efficiency Module Confirmed by NREL
First Solar, Inc. today announced it set a new world record for cadmium-telluride (CdTe) photovoltaic (PV) solar module efficiency, achieving 14.4 percenttotal area efficiency. The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) confirmed the record, which eclipsed the prior record of 13.4 percent, which also was set by First Solar. Read more
