While most people thought that this holiday season will be all about Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the competition ended up to be slightly different. It turns out that right now there is absolutely no point in purchasing a gaming console… separately. Most Xbox One and PlayStation 4 bundles are available at a price which is either very close to that of the consoles or even have the same price tag. That is especially the case with PS4 Black Friday deals. Similar to the last year, Sony’s console if offered at its regular price of $399.99.

Even more interesting is the ongoing competition between the Black Friday Xbox and PlayStation bundles on Amazon.com. All Black Friday bundles featuring the two new-generation consoles are currently on the retailer’s best sellers list in the video games category. Consumers show the greatest interest in the PlayStation 4 Black Friday Bundle – Grand Theft Auto V and The Last of Us Remastered and Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Unity Bundle. Both bundles are constantly switching between the first and the second spot on the ranking. That is not surprising since both offer top game titles and come with similar discounts.

Despite its hefty price tag, this gaming bundle of joy is almost sold out, according to Amazon.com.
