Dubai is known as a vibrant shopping destination. After all, it is a home of tens of malls and another eight, which are currently under construction. To make shopping sprees around Dubai easier, a free shuttle bus service will transport shoppers between a number of Dubai malls.

The Dubai MallThe new free shuttle bus service started operating earlier this week, on November 17 (Monday). The service will run between Deira City Centre, Mirdif City Centre and Mall of the Emirates. The three malls that are included in it announced the news through their social media pages and their official websites.

The shuttle buses will be fully-dedicated and will feature 32 seats. In addition, they will provide complimentary pick-up and drop-off to guests of dozens of hotels in Dubai, among which are Hilton Creek Hotel, Marriott Hotel, Hilton Jumeirah Hotel and many others.

Buses will run every two hours and one trip will take them 45 minutes in one direction and another 45 minutes on the way back. The first shuttle bus will depart from the Mall of the Emirates at 10 a.m. In 10.30 a.m. it will depart from City Centre Mirdif and at 10.45 a.m. it will arrive to City Centre Deira. After that, the same shuttle bus will make the trip back to Mall of the Emirates by departing from City Centre Deira at exactly 11 a.m.

The shuttle bus will cover the same route again at 12 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m., 7p.m and 9 p.m. with Mall of the Emirates as a departure point.

Such free transport services are not uncommon in Dubai. Some malls like The Dubai Mall and Dubai Outlet Mall already offer similar options to their consumers. However, this is the first one to travel and connect three separate malls in the city. Given that Dubai has a global status of a shopping hub and that many of its malls are currently among the 20 top-rated tourists attractions in the city, the new shuttle bus service will become very popular in the short time.
