Dubai’s newest mission will be to gather the world in one place! The emirate will build a miniature world of famous landmarks, buildings and natural monuments.

The name of this new project is Mini World Park and it was just approved by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s ruler.

The mini entertainment facility will consist of small-sized replicas of natural monuments like the Niagara Falls, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Lebanon’s Raouche Rock and many others.

The famous buildings that will make another part of the Mini World Park include names like Empire State Building, the CN Tower, Burk Al Arab, Burj Khalifa and Petronas Towers.

The more ambitions creations in the park will be world’s most popular historic landmarks. There, visitors will have the chance to see small versions of Jordan’s Petra, the pyramids in Egypt, the Roman Coliseum, and even the Great Wall of China.

As you can see, a big part of the list of replicas that will be included in the facility is already revealed. However, there are still no details on the project’s cost, financing and location. Probably these are still to be determined and estimated in the near future.

Along with the Mini World Park, Dubai’s Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum also gave a green light for a few more projects. Two of them are expected to impress with their shape and design. Dubai will soon enjoy a central library that will look like an open book. The building will have seven different levels and it will have a display capacity of 1 million books and storage capacity of another 1.2 million titles. According to the project plan, the new library will occupy an area of 50,000 square meters.

The second strangely shaped project that will also become a part of Dubai’s landscape is a maritime museum. The facility will be shaped like a snail and it will cost about $9.25 million or AED35 million.

The other projects which were approved are the Hatta housing project, the Methane gas extraction project, as well as the Al Mamzar Corniche Beach project which will increase the public beach area with about 60,000 square meters.
