As an exciting kickoff, ‘40 drumbeats for the UAE,’ a human musical mobile, will be performing on Dec. 1 from 7pm. The spectacular performance is brought to you by Alliance Française of Dubai, with the support of the French Embassy and the UAE Ministry of Culture and promises to dazzle the young and the young at heart.
The Family Music Festival will feature various genres of music, including drumming sessions, tango music, a Fairouz medley, street musicians and an instrumental performance by the Music Institute. Families can enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants overlooking the Marina or picnic baskets from Carluccio’s while relaxing at the water’s edge. Children will be entertained with carousel rides and other outdoor activities.
