entourage set a new standard in events management at the inauguration of the 30th edition of Sharjah International Book Fair. The inauguration of the iconic event took place inside a custom made dome that has become a landmark venue for the 30th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair.

It took 2 months of preparation, involvement of over 100 skilled professionals from Europe and Dubai to bring to life this stunning concept. There was great anticipation and excitement in the build up to the event, as the landmark dome took shape next to Sharjah Expo.

Apart from its unique shape and structure, the futuristic design was perfectly in line with the event theme: to capture the essence of progress and modernity while inaugurating the latest book of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

The biggest draw of the book launch event apart from the iconic dome, was the use of cutting-edge technology. The international gathering of distinguished guests was amazed by the 360 degree projection video that introduced the book. In an experience similar to looking up to the night sky, and watching stars up to the horizon, pages of the book fluttered around the awe-struck audience. One could look up and all around, and feel immersed inside the pages of the book. The book came together to form a larger than life replica of “Harvest of Years” – written by Dr Shaikh Sultan. This replica was a hologram book that rotated before the enthralled audience before crystallizing into the real book on stage.
