Mini fashion week to feature the local catwalk stars of tomorrow

Kids Fashion Week, a signature event of Dubai Summer Surprises 2011, is dedicated to the growing market of kid’s fashion. The event showcases the latest spring/summer fashion offered by the best retailers in the city. First conceptualized in 2003, the event is now in its 9th year and has established itself as one of the main events in the Dubai Summer Surprises yearly calendar. As glitzy and glam as the grown up versions, this mini fashion week features shows by the local catwalk stars of tomorrow, and global brands.

General Information:

• Date: 28th to 31st July 2011
• Location: Deira City Centre
• Time: 2:00 pm and 6:30 pm (2 shows a day)

This year, Kids Fashion Week is back, looking for more aspiring young models. It is one- of –a- kind opportunity to launch your child’s fashion career on a grand platform.

Registration is open for boys & girls from ages 5-12.

Registration/Audition details:

• Date: 4th July to 12th July 2011
• Time: 12pm to 9pm
• Location: Deira City Centre (Registration booth is located at 2nd Level- West Court, across Banana Republic)

In addition, you can also join us at the Kids Fashion Week Creative Workshop at Deira City Centre and create a fashion item with the accessories available. The creation should be a joint effort between the parent and child. The best creation in each category stands to win great prizes.
