Special events for the 43rd National Day will start as early as 28th November and will last through the first week of December. The UAE National Day Parade will be held on Saturday, November 29 at Dubai’s Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard. It will gather thousands of people and will be a spectacular and exciting, colourful event. Just don’t forget to bring your camera! Dubai, as well as the rest of the emirates will mark the occasion with various musical concerts, heritage festivals, shopping promotions, fireworks and family entertainment. So, instead of spending the holiday on your own at home, go outside and join the festive atmosphere.

Travel

Another great way to celebrate the National Day and experience something new and exciting is to travel. Regional carrier Qatar Airways is currently having a Global Sales Week – a sale on airfares which runs through Friday, November 14. Travelers can book a flight to one of the 130 plus destinations around the world, including some of the most popular cities in Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa, Australia, or the Middle East. During the sale, return Economy and Business Class flights are offered at discounts of 25% and are valid for travel until 15th June, 2015.

Dubai-based airline Emirates also has special fares for flights in Economy and Business Class, but are limited to destinations in the U.S. and you need to book them until Friday. But you will need to stay somewhere, as well. Emirates Holidays has also taken care of that – it has launched its sales event Enticing Short Breaks. The offer features discounted travel packages, which include return Economy Class tickets and hotel stays in select destinations. You can choose from Istanbul, Sri Lanka, Vienna, Phuket, the Maldives, and Mauritius, but the 3-night packages are available only online at the Emirates Airlines’ official website or at Emirates holidays.

If you are still wondering about the destination, we have an idea – China. Right now, Hilton Worldwide has a Flash Sale on more than 50 hotels and resorts in China, Hong Kong and Macao. If you book your stay until 16th November, you will save 50% off the room rates! The sale is for travels completed between 13th November and 31st December, 2014, so it’s perfect for the National Day holiday. All you need to do is book at least two days before arrival and you will pay only half the price for some of the most luxurious hotels across China.

Meet with family and friends

With the busy everyday life, most of us have too little time for their closest people. And holidays give us the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with friends and family members. Add some good food, good mood, and you will have the best National Day holiday! Wherever you go and whatever you plan to do, make sure you share it with the right people – that’s the best way to have a really memorable and exciting experience!
