Well, this week if full of entertainment, lots of events and nightlife parties, so to help you plan your free time, we have found several extraordinary events that you will see for the first (and maybe for the last) time in Dubai. Get ready for party, laughter, sophisticated pleasures and a little bit of high-end fashion.

DSCN8271Still in the spirit of fashion that Fashion Forward brought to Dubai last month, we can easily fall in love with the messages of CHANEL’s classic Little Black Jacket exhibition. It opened on April 25 by Rita Ora and displays a series of original photographs by the amazing Karl Lagerfeld. The Little Black Jacket was designed by the late fashion icon Coco Chanel in the early 50’s and instantly became a classic. Visitors will be able to see numerous celebrities with different styling wearing the jacket at the photographs, one of which is the famous photo of Sarah Jessica Parker with a variation of the Little Black Jacket. The exhibition will continue through Saturday, May 11 at The Venue, Downtown Dubai, and the entry is free!

The next event is for all sports fans this weekend in Dubai, rugby players and addicts in particular. The Asian 5 Nations International XV’s Rugby Tournament will be held this Friday, May 10 at 7he Sevens Stadium from 7.30 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. The five elite Asian rugby teams will compete in the Top 5 Division and everyone loves a sporty night out will be able to see the UAE National XV against the Tournament champions, Japan this Friday!

Or forget about rude, big-muscled men running and fighting over a ball, and the smell of grass and sweat. This event is for totally different audience – the Swan Lake by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky tells the story of a beautiful princess who was transformed into a swan by an evil witch. Of course, the unforgettable performance of the Moscow Royal Ballet this weekend in Dubai will leave you breathless, if you choose to commit to this classic love story. The magical production can be seen every day from Thursday, May 9 to until Monday May 13 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Dubai World Trade Centre. Show timings vary each day, starting from 6.00 p.m.; tickets start from AED 250.

Friday is definitely a day for party – if you love the newest and the best club and house music, head on to Sandance at Atlantis, The Palm. Dubai’s number one beach party will feature Keane, the indie rock sensation Florence and the Machine, the legends Nightmare on Wax, and of course, the superstars Groove Armada. If you have a ticket for the show (because it’s already sold out) you will also see the special guests, Space Ibiza’s legendary DJ Jonathan Ulysses and Idris Elba this weekend in Dubai!

Well, it looks you have a large choice of entertainment in Dubai. Even if nothing suits you, you can always take the whole family or your friends to the movie theater!
