Global Village, Member of TECOM Investments, achieved a new record by welcoming 500,000 visitors in the first 10 days of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) this year.
Global Village was able to enhance its status as the best entertainment venue in the region by achieving a new record. This record was the highest number of visitors Global Village attracted, more than any entertainment project in the region.
The DSF added a new feature to Global Village where its stalls that sell raffles have witnessed a high turnout from visitors of various nationalities. A parade which consisted of 100 people also attracted many visitors who expressed their admiration by capturing photos and videos of the event.
Global Village prepared well for this event and welcomed people at 3:30 PM half an hour earlier than of the opening after hundreds of people crowding from 12:00pm.
In addition to these achievements, Global Village received 100 thousand visitors last Friday, where families had come from different destinations to enjoy events and spectacular shows.
Although the number of visitors Global Village received, the first ten days passed peacefully without complaints or accidents. The presence of the Traffic Police organized the traffic flow as well as the spread of Police officers on-site ensured that all visitors enjoyed their time without complains.
Global Village parking accommodates a maximum of 16,000 cars sometimes fully occupied from 6:00 pm which has lead the Global Village administration to provide more buses to transport visitors to and from parking spaces to the gates in order to offer the best comfort for its visitors.
For 8 hours a day, visitors spent a wonderful time touring various pavilions and witnessed an array of fabulous art shows. The Restaurants court also attracted many visitors, as it offers a range of international and local cuisines suiting to different nationalities and tastes.
The selling and buying movement also captured wide spread attention due to various products offered by more than 30 pavilions including 45 countries from around the world.
Furthermore, entertainment and arts performances brought from around the world are witnessing high turnouts from all visitors.
