Maria D’Souza (secretary) : I will work harder to get a promotion and become an office manager.

Fatima Al Baloushi (student) : I will dedicate more time to my studies, because this is my last year in university.

John Butler (media executive) : Since this is the 4th time I have been asked this question in the last 48 hours, I have decided that my New Years resolution is that I am definitely not answering this question again next year.

Lina Saade (housewife): I will do more for charity.

Rashid Al Qubaisi (student): I will go to training every day, because I want to win a gold medal in the UAE national swimming competition.

Laura Mills (PR executive): I will stop browsing chat forums  like Expatwoman.com and focus more on my job.
