Sharjah Museums Departments (SMD) organized a lecture entitled â€œHow to Welcome Ramadan?â€ at Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization. The lecture was given by Abdullah Al-Kamali. Issues related to the Holy Month of Ramadan were highlighted such as Fasting and sincere devotion. Al-Kamali discussed unacceptable acts, and the importance and virtues of Shaâ€™ban. Prayers, Quran recitation, and praying for others were among the important subjects.
The discussion gives answers to inquiries made by the audience on how to make best use of your time in Ramadan and how to organize your working time and religious duties. Abdullah Al-Kamali also discussed methods of upbringing our children according to the Sunnah of the Apostle Mohammed (PBUH), and establishing ideals for our children to follow specially good manners. Al-Kamali ended his speech with a brief depiction of the paradise.
