Radar devices caught in Dubai caught 508,434 offending vehicles in the first four months of the year as compared to 540,477 for the corresponding period last year, a senior Dubai Police said.

Brigadier Mohammed Saif Al Zafeen, Director of Dubai Traffic, said March registered the highest radar violations at 140,816, followed by February at 135,485 while April saw the lowest number of traffic offences at 104,108.
He noted that other violations recorded by the electronic detectors saw a marked drop for the same period.
”Violations of running the red signal stood at 3,854 in the January-April period. Some 2500 tickets were issued for truckers for excessive speed,” he added.
