Under the patronage of International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) is organizing the Seventh Session of the Emirates Photography Competition (EPC) 2012.
The aim of the EPC is to develop photography within the United Arab Emirates by attracting as many photographers as possible, whether amateur or professional, by nurturing their talents. EPC intends to achieve this through specialized workshops, interactive meetings, seminars and holding both solo and collective exhibitions inside and outside the country. The EPC also encourages the comprehensive acquisition and publication of photographic works. Read more

- 2010 Edition to Award 10 Winners Each Month
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Dubai and Middle East Office will launch its second edition of the highly successful “Amazing Thailand Through the Lense” photography competion on September 1st, 2010.
The 2010 competition has been specifically designed to attract applications from residents of the Middle East, with special Thai cuisine gift vouchers from Dubai’s most distinguished Thai restaurants being awarded to the ten most popular entries each month for seven months. Read more
Emirates NBD, the largest banking group in the Middle East in terms of assets, announced today the names of the three winners of its photography competition, held over three weeks in the bankâ€™s branches in The Dubai Mall. Sano Mohammed, Joshua Gavino and Usman Aryan Latif each received a professional camera plus publication of their winning photograph in an ITP media title.
The winners of the best three entries were selected by a panel of judges, comprising Saif Al Mansoori, Head â€“ Group Business Marketing at Emirates NBD; Sevag Davidian, Photography Director, ITP Publications; as well as the Talib Mohammed, Branch Manager of Emirates NBD, The Dubai Mall Branch.
