Winners of 4th Emirates Classic Car Festival at Downtown Dubai honoured

Thousands of spectators soaked up the unprecedented spectacle of classic cars and motorbikes that were displayed on Emaar Boulevard in Downtown Dubai, as well as the colourful parades, to mark the fourth Emirates Classic Car Festival.

The annual event was organised by Emaar Properties in association with the UAE Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development; and the Automobile & Touring Club of the United Arab Emirates (ATCUAE) and the official representative of FIVA; the ‘Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens’ – the worldwide authority for historic vehicles. The Dubai Fountain to perform to UAE National Anthem

To mark the 40th UAE National Day celebrations, The Dubai Fountain, the world’s tallest performing fountain lining the waterfront promenade of The Dubai Mall, will perform to the UAE National Anthem from December 1 to 3, every day at 1pm, 7pm, 9pm and 11pm.

The Dubai Fountain, located in Downtown Dubai, the flagship development of Emaar Properties, overlooking Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, is over 900 ft (275 metres) in length – equivalent to that of over two football fields.

Over 6,600 lights and 25 colour projectors create a visual spectrum of over 1,000 different water expressions that appeal to visitors. Different combinations of water-forms of The Dubai Fountain perform to selected musical pieces – chosen from a range of classical to contemporary Arabic and world music. Read more

One of Dubai’s most-awaited lifestyle events organised to complement the UAE National Day celebrations, the Emirates Classic Car Festival has expanded its scope to encompass classic motorbikes too this year.
