Etisalat sponsors Brain Hunt 2009 quiz show; challenges young minds

DSC_0394 Etisalat and Vision Tomorrow announced the launch of Brain Hunt 2009, an inter-school quiz challenge, at a press conference held today at Hilton Baynunah Towers, Abu Dhabi. Brain Hunt Quiz series – 2009 edition is organized by Vision Tomorrow, managed by Inspirations, title-sponsored by Etisalat and presented by South Indian Bank, India.
The 6th edition of the quiz contest beginning next week, will see the participation of 54 Indian schools from across the United Arab Emirates battling out to match wits till the end.

Commenting at the launch of the Brain Hunt quiz contest 2009, Haitham Al Kharusi, Vice President of Marketing Marketing Communications at Etisalat said, “As a responsible corporate citizen, Etisalat fully recognizes the need for the corporate sector to encourage various programmes and initiatives that contribute to the society’s benefit on several levels. Extending our support to the Brain Hunt quiz show serves as an excellent opportunity to help in tapping into the potential of talented youngsters in the UAE.”

“Further, Etisalat has always been keen on reaching out to our vast customer base from the Indian community residing in the UAE by way of continuously sponsoring and supporting various Indian socio-cultural initiatives held in UAE”, he added.
The Brain Hunt contest will be conducted zone-wise and 24 teams will be selected after elimination for the grand finale of Brian Hunt that will be conducted in the month of December. Six teams will contest in the finals on a show that will be telecasted on Kairali TV, a leading south Indian television channel, and will be viewed by more than 22 million people worldwide.
