Following an action-packed Q1, ADNEC is all set for another busy season of leading exhibitions and conferences that will attract hundreds of thousands of high-spending business visitors to Abu Dhabi and generate significant business opportunities for the emirate. ADNEC’ world-class facilities are fully geared up to ensure the convenience and peace of mind for the event organisers, delegations, and visitors through offering them best-in-class services and a host of top-notch facilities.

ADNEC sees this level of activity a positive indicator that the business tourism sector in the emirate is thriving and will continue to do so for years to come owing to the sustained support of the wise UAE leadership.

The first of the events hosted at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in Q2, GFIA, will run from 1 to 2 April under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA). With the strategic support of ADFCA and the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, the event will showcase the latest innovations to regional food producers across six key areas: indoor farming and hydroponics, date palm production, aquaculture, livestock and animal health, smart honey production, and sustainable agriculture.

Set to take place from 3 to 6 April, the SIOP Asia 2019 Congress will seek to build strong synergies among Asian countries towards enhanced paediatric cancer care. Drawing the participation of healthcare professionals involved in caring for paediatric, adolescent, and young adult cancer patients, the event will feature enlightening and comprehensive programming that combines lectures, plenary sessions, and panel discussions.

Meanwhile, the Emirates Skills National Competition 2019, set to run from 15 to 17 April, will witness Emirati youth compete in diverse craftsmanship and technology disciplines, based on the standards and judging criteria of WorldSkills International, a renowned global contest that is considered a ‘movement of change’.

Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2019, the leading property investment and development exhibition, will mark its 13th outing at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 16 to 18 April. The event will bring together key industry decision makers, local and international investors, homebuyers, developers, government and investment authorities, architects, designers, consultants, and senior industry professionals.

From 17 to 30 April, Morocco in Abu Dhabi 2019 will offer visitors a unique opportunity to learn about the authentic civilisation, culture, and heritage of the North African country. Through a rich tapestry of displays and exhibits, the event will present colourful vignettes of Morocco’s architecture, music, art, and cuisine, as well as its customs, traditions, and fashion. A key crowd puller at the show will be the Moroccan Heritage Museum.

The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre will open its doors to Bett Middle East & Africa 2019, the region’s leading education technology summit and expo, from 22 to 23 April. The event will convene prominent education experts to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and advancements in education technology across the world, as well as share experience, views, and ideas to shape the future of education in the region.

The popular Abu Dhabi International Book Fair will return to the venue from 24 to 30 April 2019. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the fair aims to instil a love for reading in children and adults alike, and highlight the UAE’s rich heritage that combines tradition and modernity, as well as its cultural and literary output.
