2016 Ramadan Working Hours Announced


In 2016, the Ramadan working hours for employees in the public sector will be from 9am to 2pm, according to a statement issued on Sunday by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR).

The circular was issued as per Cabinet decision No.13 of 2012 in implementation of Federal Law No.11 of 2008 and its amendments.

In the statement made by FAHR on its twitter account, the government authority offered sincere greetings on the occasion of Ramadan to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in addition to members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, the UAE citizens and residents, as well as to all Islamic countries.

The Ministry of Labour has to announce the working hours for the private sector.
