Many countries and cultures celebrate Christmas in different and some times unusual, or  traditional ways. That is why Christmas celebrations vary from one place to another. In many Slavic cultures there is no Santa Claus or Father Christmas. Instead there is Grandfather Frost or Ded Moroz and his granddaughter Snow Maiden or Snegurochka. Like Santa Claus, Grandfather Frost also delivers presents. However, he doesn’t sneak into the house through chimneys, but brings them in person.
