To celebrate the 44th National Day of the UAE, City Sightseeing Dubai, is giving all UAE residents complimentary tours on its hop-on hop-off tour buses on 2nd December. This is the first time the company is doing this since it started operating the unique hop-on hop-off bus tours in Dubai from October last year in partnership with dnata.

“National Day is about celebrating the UAE, including Dubai,” said Jesus Ruiz Perez, Managing Director, City Sightseeing Dubai. “For residents, a tour of Dubai is a great way to rediscover the city and we offer one of the best ways to experience it from the comfort a double-decker bus with amazing photo opportunities. We also have unique on-board commentary tailored for children, ensuring that every member of the family will enjoy our tours,” added Mr Perez.

To enjoy the complimentary tour, residents can collect a ticket by presenting a valid Emirates ID Card at the City Sightseeing kiosk in Deira City Centre on 2nd December. The tickets are valid for the same day and can be used from 9.00am to 8.00pm when the tours run. Ticket availability is subject to bus capacity. City Sightseeing Dubai operates 20 buses with a seating capacity of 70 persons each bus. Bus frequency is between 20 to 30 minutes.

There are four sightseeing routes available. The Blue Route offers 11 stops, including Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, Jumeriah Mosque, and Jumeriah Beach Park, the Umm Suqeim Public Beach, and Madinat Jumierah, taking guests onto the iconic Palm Jumeriah and ending at the Mall of the Emirates. The Red Route has 16 stops, including the Gold and Spice Souks, Dubai Mall, Dubai Creek, the Dubai Museum and finally, the Old Souk. The Golden Route shows off the Dubai Marina area and the Palm Crescent Route offers great views of the Dubai Marina on one end and the Burj Al Arab on the other.
