Emirates is concluding another successful year as the Official Airline of the European Tour, and with the DP World Championship just getting underway in Dubai in a few days, the airline is again bringing together golf’s top players for a much anticipated culmination to the ‘Race to Dubai’.

Some of whom will travel to Dubai to watch some of golf’s greatest names play, while others will catch the action online and on global broadcast. Over 12,500 shots have been recorded by the winners of the 2015 European Tour and over 7 million range balls have been hit by European Tour players in the last year. Since 2009, when Emirates began its support for the European Tour, the airline has added 48 passenger destinations and 134 aircraft to its fleet.

Emirates will again be activating its hospitality experience during the DP World Championship. In addition, it will also activate its ‘Race to Dubai’ experience where players who put the most balls, and remained on top of the leaderboard will win a trip for two to the 2016 BMW PGA in London, including hospitality and flight tickets. More than 8,847 golf fans participated in the Race to Dubai challenge this year.
