Jaguar Land Rover sets the benchmark for eco-friendly technology
Jaguar will showcase its new aluminium family of vehicles with its new Jaguar XE and Jaguar XF saloons at this year’s show. The all new Jaguar XE uses an aluminium monocoque body with the lightweight metal accounting for 75 per cent of the car’s structure. The weight reduction ensures that the Jaguar XE is the most fuel-efficient Jaguar yet with fuel consumption and CO2 emissions on the NEDC combined cycle of over 75mpg and less than 100g/km respectively.

Toyota has sold around 8 million hybrid vehicles globally, resulting in approximately 58 million fewer tons of CO2 emissions than would have been emitted by petrol-powered vehicles of similar size and driving performance. In the UAE, Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota, has been spearheading sustainable mobility initiatives, delivering Toyota hybrid vehicles to major fleet operators. The 2015 Dubai International Motor Show is supported by Show partners AC Delco, Alienware, Autopro, Cooper Tires, ENOC and Swiss Tourism. The show will be open from 6pm to 10pm on November 10; 11am to 10pm on November 11; 11am to 11pm on November 12 and 13; and from 11am to 10pm on November 14.

Prices are AED 65 for single-day entry, with children under 12 entering free. The entry ticket includes free access to the new Motoring Nostalgia Museum where visitors will experience classics and vintage models showcasing the great eras of the motoring industry. This interactive event includes expert talks and guided tours along with street food cuisine from food trucks and live music throughout the five days. “Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
