After the conclusion of Cityscape Global 2014, the Dubai-based property listing portal has revealed the list of Dubai’s five most affordable communities for expats to rent property, with International City securing top spot. The median rent in the community stands at AED 42,000.
Rents are evidently experiencing a slowdown in certain areas. Similarly, house prices are likely to slow further in the coming months.
Breaking down the median rent and median rent per sq. ft. for each of the five communities, propertyfinder.ae’s list ranks International City, Discovery Gardens, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai Investment Park and Dubailand as the least expensive locales for renting property.
