Dubai Public Transport Ramadan Working Hours Announced

With Ramadan starting tomorrow or the day after, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced the new working hours and schedule during the Holy Month for the public transport and the customer service. Ahmad Mahboob, RTA Director of Customer Service at Corporative Administrative Support Services Sector also gave detailed information on the timings, revised in consideration with the employees’ shorter working hours during Ramadan.

Public Buses

The main bus stations Gold Souk, Al Ghubaiba 1&2, Al Qusais, Satwa, and Al Qouz Industrial area will work from 6 am. to midnight. Jebel Ali 10:00 – 10:00 pm.; Al-Ittihad Square and Al Sabkha from 6am till midnight; Sharjah and Bur Dubai will be working 24 hours; Deira and Abu Dhabi – 6am until midnight. Feeder buses to metro stations Al Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa will work from 7am. till 1am. and Abu Hail and Etisalat stations – from 10 am. to 10 pm. Hatta – from 5 am. to 9:30 pm.; Fujairah and Ajman from 6am till 10pm. And Al Ghubaiba will be working around the clock.

Dubai Metro

Red Line stations will work Thursday from 5.30 am. until 1.00 am. the next day and Friday from 1.00 pm. to 1.00 am. All other stations will be available from Saturday to Wednesday, from 5.30 am. until midnight. And all other Green Line stations will work Thursday from 5.50 am., Fridays from 1.00 pm. until 1.00 am., and from Saturday until Wednesday – 5.50 to midnight.

Paid Parking Zones

All centers will work from Saturday till Thursday: 8.00 am. – 1.00 pm.; 7.00 pm. till midnight.

Exceptions: The Fishmarket zone – all weekdays 8am. – 1.00 pm.; 4.00 pm. – 11.00 pm.

Tecom, Dubai Media City and Dubai Internet City, Knowledge Village: Saturday – Thursday, 8.00 am. – 6.00 pm.
