The Walk at JBR joins DSF 2013 festivities

The Walk at JBR, a Dubai Properties Group (DPG) destination, has joined the 2013 Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF 2013) with a month long programme of festival-themed street entertainment in addition to discounts across a variety of retail outlets on both the ground and plaza level.

Organized by DSF, The Walk is hosting a variety of international live music performances, fashion exhibitions and street entertainers, with artists travelling from Mexico, Serbia and Thailand. The street festival is taking place until the first week of February to celebrate the 18th consecutive year of the Dubai Shopping Festival.

DSF is one of the region’s largest and longest running shopping festivals, attracting over three million tourists from around the world. During the festival, shops offer great discounts on merchandise, daily car raffles and fireworks. This year, hundreds of events have been planned throughout the month including international concerts, musicals, shows, sports and fashion events, making it the largest DSF organized to date.

Speaking about DSF at The Walk, Sahar Al Ansari, Director of Real Estate at DPG said, “The Walk’s mix of retail outlets allows visitors to enjoy great discounts across a range of lifestyle and home stores while enjoying entertainment for all age groups.”

The Walk at JBR is one of the most distinctive and popular entertainment and shopping destinations in the UAE, welcoming over 7 million visitors in 2011 and giving this destination iconic status and pride of place as the flagship development for DPG.
